International model Miranda Kerr has said that she is more than willing to sign a petition if it will keep stock broker David Kiely employed. Mr. Kiely hit the headlines recently after he was caught on film ogling semi-nude pictures of the model on his desktop. The Seven Network was recording a piece with his colleague about the central bank and its interest rate decision whilst Mr. Kiely was opening up an email containing pictures of the model in the background. Unsurprisingly the footage has become a must see on YouTube.
Banking group Macquarie where Mr. Kiely is employed has just issued a statement saying that he will be allowed to keep his job. They say that they have investigated the situation and would like to apologise to anyone who may have been offended.
Mr. Kiely may very well have been in the wrong place at the wrong time but Macquarie have sent an email to all employees saying that misuse of the company’s technology will not be tolerated.
